I'm Mary, thank you for visiting Leave Nothing But Art! You see a lot of art throughout your life, so thank you for taking the time to look at mine. I'm so appreciative!

My name is Mary Penta. I'm 22 years old, I was born and raised in Rhode Island, but currently reside in Columbus Ohio. I've always loved drawing, painting, and making. I took classes in and out of school as a kid and now I travel and paint the things I see. I named my business Leave Nothing but Art. I really believe in leaving the earth
I really believe in leaving the earth as you found it, and if you can, trying to make it more beautiful.

My primary art form is acrylic painting often with some mixture of marker, pen, and colored pencil on top. But I also love exploring with other mediums, I love sculpting with clay, drawing with charcoal, whittling, and wood burning.

I am an acrylic painter who finds joy in colors. I strive to convey, and render lighting in a magical way. I blend surrealism and impressionistic styles, finding my own somewhere in between. My paintings play with illumination and saturated colors. I yearn to paint everyday and find inspiration everywhere, especially in animals and within
I am an acrylic painter who finds joy in colors. I strive to convey, and render lighting in a magical way. I blend surrealism and impressionistic styles, finding my own somewhere in between. My paintings play with illumination and saturated colors. I yearn to paint everyday and find inspiration everywhere, especially in animals and within the symbolism they can represent when used in different contexts. The narratives shown throughout my work are often based on stories, poems, and personal experiences. The majority of my paintings revolve around themes of empathy, contentment, and time. My hopes are for the works to be seen as a relatable, and comforting, contribution to the world.
